Ben Apperly – Business Development Manager Decarbonisation Solutions, Technip Energies

Ben Apperly, a Business Development Manager at Technip Energies, focuses on carbon capture in the UK. With 15 years at Technip Energies, he started as a Graduate Process Engineer and led various technical projects before moving into a customer-focused role. Ben supports clients on their decarbonisation journey. He is a chartered Chemical Engineer with a master’s in chemical engineering from the University of Nottingham.

Dave Kidd – Commercial Director, Decarbonisation Technologies, Shell Catalysts and Technologies

Dave, a chemical engineer, joined Shell in 2007. Over 17 years, he has held roles in Technical Service, Account Management, and Regional Sales Leadership, always focusing on the customer. Now, as Commercial Director of Decarbonisation Technologies at Shell Catalysts & Technologies, he develops opportunities to license Shell’s decarbonisation technologies, such as post-combustion carbon capture and blue hydrogen, to help companies achieve net zero.
