RJM International has been awarded the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category, recognising the company’s significant international growth and export success across the global energy sector.
One of only 185 organisations nationally to receive the honour in 2026, the award highlights RJM’s continued expansion across overseas markets and its work supporting power generation, biomass, and Energy from Waste facilities worldwide.
Founded in 2000, RJM International specialises in emissions reduction and performance improvement technologies for power stations and large combustion plant. The company now operates across the UK, Ireland, Malaysia, Singapore, and the USA, with projects currently underway in Australia, Malaysia, Kosovo, Spain, Turkey, and the United States.
Increasingly, RJM’s work has focused on helping customers transition towards lower-carbon energy generation, while maintaining operational efficiency and emissions compliance.
Commenting on the award, John Goldring, Managing Director of RJM International, said:
“On behalf of all the team at RJM, I am delighted to accept this most prestigious business award that recognises our recent rapid growth in export sales.
“Power generators the world over are facing similar challenges; how to generate more power, more efficiently, reliably and flexibly, yet do so with reduced emissions. Adapting existing plant with RJM’s advanced products and expert services allows our customers to operate reliably and cost-effectively within these new parameters.”
The company’s work within the Energy from Waste sector continues to expand alongside growing international investment in sustainable infrastructure and emissions reduction technologies.
Steve Billett, Director of Sales at RJM International, said:
“As the Energy from Waste sector takes on a growing role in sustainable energy systems, the focus on ensuring emissions performance and operational reliability is becoming much more important.
“We at RJM are supporting this transition by delivering practical solutions that help EfW facilities meet stringent environmental standards whilst maintaining efficient day-to-day operations.
“RJM is also expanding steadily across international markets, responding to global investment in waste-to-energy infrastructure and helping customers generate cleaner, more reliable energy.”
The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed in 2023 to reflect His Majesty The King’s commitment to continuing the legacy of Queen Elizabeth II in recognising outstanding UK businesses.
Now in its 60th year, the awards remain the UK’s most prestigious business accolade.
