Tickets for the 2024 Energy from Waste Conference have launched this week. The event takes place in London from 6 to 7 March 2024 and brings together the leading experts within the Energy from Waste industry. The Energy from Waste Conference is set to give its attendees ‘clarity on key issues, robust discussion on vital topics and unmatched peer-to-peer networking with fellow industry leaders’.

Last year, the conference saw a brilliant 450 attendees and 78 speakers from different parts of the industry.

Some of the key topics at the 2024 event will include talks from leading experts in the sector like Tolvik director Chris Jonas, Wayne Robertson, enfinium, and CEO of Geminor, Kjetil Vikingstad. Chris Jonas will look at how the UK and EU ETS are driving massive change in the sector. Wayne Robertson, General Counsel and Executive Committee lead for ESG, Net Zero, Policy & Regulation and Communications for enfinium, who recently joined the CCS+ Initiative, will focus on the future of carbon markets and the opportunities for EfW through its work on carbon removals and negative emissions. Top sponsors for the event include Hitachi Zosen Inova, Greenergy and Technip Energies.

As well as talks and exhibitors, the conference also offers a dinner on 6th March at Merchant Taylor’s Hall and a speed networking event the evening before, allowing attendees to meet new contacts from the EfW sector. Conference organisers said that the speed networking event ‘is an exceptional opportunity to further develop face-to-face contacts at the Energy from Waste conference and so get the very most out of the event’.
