The Operational Optimisation conference, from September 30 to October 1 in Birmingham, is designed for operational decision-makers driving performance excellence from their current waste to energy and biomass assets.

The UK's energy from waste and biomass plants are all under pressure to reduce downtime, increase availability, improve throughput, and increase profits - all while operating safely, keeping costs down, and working within a rapidly changing environment.

Operational Optimisation provides a unique opportunity to explore critical issues with industry colleagues and technical experts, through a day packed with information and discussion from leading technical and operational experts.

Hear talks from:

  • Members of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero discuss ETS and how it will affect your plant
  • Head of Programme Delivery from Viridor on early-stage consideration
  • Engineers from SUEZ Recycling & Recovery UK about the challenges of waste streams
  • Gain insights on the latest technical developments for improved performance, reduced shutdowns and better emissions control

Talks take place on the second day of the event, but if you wish to take the chance to network with others within the sector, join us for the drinks reception and industry dinner on September 30.
