Kanadevia Inova acquires Iona Capital

At the end of January, Kanadevia Inova announced that it had acquired the UK-based low carbon fund manager Iona Capital, alongside 11 renewable gas plants and a pipeline of projects. Kanadevia Inova’s CEO Bruno-Frederic Baudouin said the company's expansion “strengthens our commitment to a future free of wasted waste and adds further resilience to our business.”
Formerly Hitachi Zosen Inova, Kanadevia Inova is a Swiss-based global green tech company operating in energy from waste and renewable gas. Since their rebrand last October, which “signals a renewed commitment to a future free of wasted waste”, the group has begun construction on Encylis’s ERF in Walsall and was selected by Viridor to build the new Tilbury waste-to-energy facility.
