The conference, which will use the hashtag #20EHPconf, will bring together experts from across policy, industry, and research to explore issues around district heating and cooling networks.

Speakers are yet to be announced, but the conference promises to dovetail nicely with the EfW Conference 2020’s Day 1, Stream 3 sessions on heat: 

• Heat policy – what's needed to achieve the heat ambitions in the Resources and Waste Strategy?
• ESCOs and structures for heat networks
• Technical, contractual and financial challenges to heat offtake and best practice solutions for delivery success

And more broadly, it’s a timely conference, with district heat networks currently a hot (no pun intended) topic in the UK, Europe, and beyond.
